Islamic cleric issues 'fatwa' for Sara Ali Khans's visit to Kedarnath, calls it 'haraam'

Sara Ali Khan faced a backlash after an Islamic cleric issued a fatwa regarding her prayers at Kedarnath. The cleric stated that worshipping in another religion is impermissible under Sharia law. Following her visit, which drew attention on October 25, calls for repentance were made towards her actions. Sara has visited Kedarnath regularly over the past four years, maintaining her connection to the shrine.
